ASSISTANT MANAGER (Part-Time, including Saturday mornings; $17 per hour)

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the store manager in daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and customer service.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store layout, showcasing our merchandise effectively.

• Sorting and accepting donations

• Engage with customers, promote our mission, and provide excellent service to drive sales and support our community programs.

  Qualifications:

• Previous retail or management experience is preferred but not required

• Passion for our mission of environmental sustainability and community support

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive setting

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

At the Port Washington Twin Pines Thrift Shop, we are dedicated to reducing waste and providing retail work training for neuro-diverse, autistic, visually/hearing impaired young adults through our community partnerships. Additionally, we offer vital resources to those in need, including clothing and housewares for domestic abuse victims, an emergency food pantry, and support for families facing hardships.
