DONATIONS are ONLY ACCEPTED ON Saturdays From 10:00am until 2:00PM Or when we have reached our maximum storage capacity, whichever comes first
ONLY 5 bags or boxes per family, per Week (Please do not make the bag/box too heavy to lift easily)
Soft goods (clothing, tablecloths, etc.) must be separated from hard goods (dishes, etc.)
Items should be in saleable condition
Dropping Off Donations?
You Must speak to the manager before unloading Your donations
You complete a donation form
we cannot return bags, boxes, or bins that contain your donations
Do Not leave items outside or in the hallway. This is a fire hazard and the building will dispose of them.
Twin Pines reserves the right to refuse any donations for any reason, including:
We are at full capacity in our storage closets
Items that are soiled or damaged
Items that are on our “Do Not Accept” list
Items that we already have multiples of the same or similar items
We are currently accepting SEASONAL clothing only
no more than 15 of These items are accepted per donation day (we cannot accept “collections” of books, cds or dvds)

Twin Pines Does Not Accept:
Broken/damaged/stained/soiled/rusted/chipped/frayed items
Stuffed animals
Incomplete games, puzzles
Infant clothes (Newborn to 3T), infant toys/items
Cribs, car seats, helmets of any kind
Nursing materials
Pet Items, pet food
Cassettes/VHS tapes
BED LINENS: sheets, pillowcases
Bath mats, bath towels
Furniture, rugs
ELECTRONICS: TVs/Computers/Printers/Laptops/iPads
Used art supplies including crayons, markers, colored pencils
Wired light fixtures -chandeliers, sconces etc.
Electric typewriters
Used undergarments: socks, underwear etc.
Please dispose of these items through other donation services or local sanitation. Twin Pines staff reserves the right to refuse donations once storage capacity is reached.
The Port Washington Twin Pines Thrift Shop stocks a food pantry for those in need. We are always accepting UNEXPIRED dry food and canned goods, detergent, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and paper products.
